As part of the permanent collection of Die Neue Sammlung Museum, the Moot chair has been recently photographed at the entrance to their collection in Pinakothek der Moderne in Munich. Moot chair was shot by Rainer Viertlboeck against Luigi Colani’s work to form an historic link between these organic visionary objects.
“Im very proud of MOOT which represents how form in trinity with material properties can result in a sophisticated balance of anatomical human organic design and bio engineered single skin surface in composites” Ross Lovegrove 2015.
Die Neue Sammlung Museum is considered the world’s first design museum. Today, with some 100,000 objects from the fields of industrial design, modern applied arts and graphic design, this state museum boasts a permanent collection which is one of the world’s largest design collections and is one of the leading museums dealing with this subject for the 20th and 21st centuries.
