An Object of Desire

Ross was recently filmed as part of a new 6 part series called ‘Objects of Desire’ to be aired on the Sky Arts channel later this year. The series, hosted by Mariella Frostrup, explores our intrigue and want for the most desirable objects in fashion, architecture, design and the arts.

Incorporated in the series is a charity auction, hosted by Philips de Pury. The auction included works from  Zaha Hadid, Thomas Heatherwick, Jade Jagger and Peter Saville. Ross was asked to donate an object for the auction and choose his Cosmic Leaf light, designed for Italian lighting company, Artemide. The Cosmic Leaf is a fantastic example of industrial lighting design and has recently been added to the permanent collection of the Art Institute of Chicago.
