Launched yesterday, Lovegrove Studio with LASVIT showcased a new lighting range called Nodules.

The Nodules are handmade spherical lenses fused together in the making process to harness the natural physics of the material.  A fiber optic light source delivers an intense white light from a remote point so that the relationship between the stem and Nodule is minimized and mysterious. The unique installations rise from the floor in clusters.

To be launched in Milan 2013, Lovegrove Studio has been working with Vondom to create a wonderful new collection called Biophilia.

Biophilia explores the a new design language that forms a dialogue between time , form and space combining the pioneering organic design of Segrada Famila by Antonio Gaudi , Vondom’s expertise in advanced roto moulded technology and my studios ongoing research into the transference of digital process into contemporary  design.

Lovegrove Studio has completed work on it’s latest limited edition, Void Illusion. These new works form the next step in the evolution of carbon fibre furniture, extending the interface between the liquid dynamics of its structure and the flow path strategies of its contained surfaces.

The intent has been to form a dialogue between its elegant controlled structure and the unexpected void illusion of its interior landscapes which activate and control light and its aura, softened by their digital interactive topography and liquid gold lacquer.
